Spanish sparrow
Me, Rob and Dad headed over to Hampshire for the Spanish Sparrow that had taken up residence in Calshot, we arrived just after 7:30 we got all the gear out of the car and walked down the road to the estate, and stood on this grass patch right in front of the hedge were the bird was seen and after about 20 minutes of waiting the sun popped up and then sparrow showed in the hedge right in front of us, showing the Chestnut head, Flank and breast markings, the bird was very hard to see at first but then came to the top of the Ivy bush and then preened before flying to another hedge for about 5 minutes then flew into one of the residences garden.

We then headed to Hawkhill inclosure for the Dark eyed junco, the bird showed really well, we also noted down 6+ Crossbills, 50+ Reed buntings, 1 Goldcrest.
