I woke up anxiously hoping that the Fem Little crake was going to be there today but Rob and Dad were Sure that it would be

We arrived at the Arundel wwt Center at 8:45 and they opened it up early and we then payed our fees and headed straight to the reed bed broad walk we all split up because no one new were about it really was until some guy had it so we all rushed to him and bundled together to see this little beauty and it was showing well i watched the Little crake for about 30 minutes but rob left us because he had to get home, i got amazing views of the crake in my scope for 10-15 minutes bird was showing well in the morning but is became elusive so after an amazing lifer and year tick we decided to head home.
On the way to meet my mum we walked along a little river and got good views of
Mandarin duck and Grey wagtail
also two Water voles which showed really well.
This now brings our year list 193 wow that’s alot
