Me, Rob and Dad headed up to Essex for the Subalpine warbler but Rob was the only lucky one of us to see the bird, but then that's birding, but we did see a really nice female Pied flycatcher witch was a year tick for us three and a very welcome one, also a few yellow wagtails flying over, we also had a very showy lesser Whitethroat witch showed well during the day.
We then headed to Farthing down in Surrey for the Hoopoe but when we got there it had just gone out of view but within 15 minutes it had just been relocated at the top of the hill and showed really well giving us really good views for about 30 mins before we decided to head home.
On Sunday after noon Me and Dad quickly popped over to Thorney Island for the Cattle egret that we dipped during the week, and as soon as we arrived it was there in the cow field showing really nicely but a bit to far for good photos, we also had a nice osprey eating a fish, but after a good weekend birding we headed home
