A Quick Visit

Glaucous Gull and Kumelin's Gull

I had a quick visit down to Littlehampton Beach this morning in hope of refinding the Kumelin's & Glaucous gull, when i arrived there was just a small handful of bird on the shoreline but there was no sign of either of the gull, i then spotted a nice Kittiwake of the end of the pier so i decided to go and get some photos, after getting some okay photo i decided to sit down on the end of the pier and stay sheltered from the wind and rain.

Kumelin's Gull

After about 10 minutes of sitting around i looked to my left and there was the 2cy Glaucous Gull flying eye level with me so i quickly popped up and snapped away at it and then i realized the Kumelin's Gull was in the same view so i was able to get some absolute cracking photos of both the birds so i was very very pleased with my self, so i then decided to home and dry myself off.
