buff breasted sandpiper

buff breasted sandpiper we headed down to Arlington reservoir at 7:54 and arrived by train at 9:30 so it pretty early to some other day's when we got to Berwick train station we were so excited about seeing this buff breasted sandpiper so just as we got up the last bit of road dad stopped and asked this man if he had seen the buff breasted sandpiper and he said its still there showing very well but as soon as you take your eyes of the bird you will lose it because of were it is so well camouflaged so we padlocked the bikes up and headed down to this massive crowd of people. As soon as we got to the crowd of people we saw an avocet that was a bit injured round the neck poor bird but it seems to be doing very well and then as we finished looking at the avocet there was this little bird moving around and that was it an amazing buff breasted sandpiper it is such a beautiful bird but if you looked carefully another at the bill of bird it wouldn't shut so it must of had a deformed bill so we looked at it for an hour and 30 mins and as we were packing up there big flock of meadow pipits flying around and when they sheltered they would give amazing views just wish I had more time to spend but we wanted to try for these black terns at (shoremham harbour)so we headed down to shoreham harbour and the was nothing there so we decided to give up from there and go home but hay not a bad day all in all
