Amberly wildbrooks

We decided to go for the White fronted geese at Amberly wildbrooks.

Waxwings

On the way to the train station dad spotted 14 Waxwings in a tree by the traffic lights near Somerfield’s car park we watched them for a few minutes before they flew over the road to another tree and then out of site. we then headed to the river were we saw Dunlin, Common sandpiper on the mud feeding, dad also saw a Kingfisher flying up the river.

When we got to the brooks in Amberly dad found 45 White fronted goose there we juv with them as well, later on along the brooks we got close to the geese and got some good views and a bit further down the path i picked a barn owl flying round by the woods after about 5 minutes of watching it before it got mobbed by a peregrine.
