Prinsted, Little deeps, fishbourne Creek and Westhampnet Gravel Pits.


Snow buntings

We started are day at Prinstead were we saw two Snow Buntings male and Female which  gave amazing views, we got within 3 foot away from them, also in the field behind there was lots of Redshanks, Black tailed godwit, Meadow pipits and one Male Stonechat , in the Harbour there was Dunlin, Pale bellied Brent goose, two Grey plover.

At thorny deeps Birds noted we were
Greenshank.
Marsh harrier.
pintails
Kingfisher.
Shovler.
Grey Partridge.
Shelduck.
Skylarks.
Kestrel.



We then moved on to Fishbourne creek were it was high tide we got good views of a Male and Female Goldeneye in  harbour the was lots of Black tailed godwits, Redshanks, Brent geese, Snipe. In the Gull roost there was Common Gull, Black headed gull, Herring gulls over head there was a mixed flock of Lapwing, Black tailed godwit and 3 Golden Plover.

we then moved on to westhampnet Gravels pits were we saw two red head Goosanders also lots of Shoveler and pochard after a good day of birding we counted 71 species
