Rolling them up

Roller
On Saturday me and dad headed up Yorkshire, for the Roller which has stayed put and is showing really well, we arrived after 11, and the Roller was showing really well, in a post in the middle of a field, it was also feeding in the ground and flying around abit so we got to see all the range of colours.

We then got the Marsh Warbler at Blacktoft sands, which showed well but briefly in the reeds i had it in the scope for a couple of minutes.

Then on Monday headed Pennington with rob and got the Black winged stilts, which show really well right in front of us at times, we also had some good views of the Night heron which was also nice to see.

We then headed to a wood were we had amazing views of Redstarts,  but just as i was going to get photos they always flew of, we then got Goshawk and Woodlark at a private site which was nice to see.

Thanks for a great day birding Rob.
