KENT BIRDING !!!!






Waxwing


We headed down to Kent to see and spend the day with Rob Stokes. We arrived in Folkstone at 10:00 AM to be greated by 200+ churrping Waxwings high up in a tree, wich was an amamzing sight Dad got some better shots and Rob got some really good shots as they all came down to feed in the berry bush just in front of us. 
We counted 147 Waxwings this photo



















Goosander
We then went of the Dungeness to look for Goosander wich were picked up by me withing 5 mintues, Rob then found a redhead Smew and then a male Smew we had three Bitterns from the visitor center then from the makepeace hide and then one flying round the reserve. we also Marsh harrier and 2 Black knecked grebes on denge marsh.

Dad then found 3 Egyption geese with mute swans in a field, at the visitor center Dad got some bad photos of a Tree sparrow on the feeder with lots of Reed buntings also 3 Red legged partridge along the road going to the visitor center
