dad popped down to climping this morning to try his luck .on his way he stopped at the river were he had to lovely commom sandpipers.

at climping gap he managed to see several wheatears flying low over the fields as he lock the bike up, there was a good number of whitethroats, along the horse paddock hedge .he also had 2 really nice whinchats were sitting on some low bushes enjoying the early sun, a reed bunting and reed warbler were watched as they move along the reed filled ditch.
a good number of martins were over head and a few swallows and a green woodpecker came darting over the cornfeild

a lesser whitethroat was heard then seen as it was eating blackberries about 5 blackcaps were also seen .

he then spotted a really nice spotted flycatcher which did not stay around long anothe to have its picture taken.

over birds around were a family of 3 sparrowhawks 1 kestrel, linnets and greenfinches and on the way back to the bike there was 1 more whinchat and 1 yellow wagtail . back at the river he managed this great picture of a little egret.
