Snake in the bush

Wryneck
Me, Dad and he's friend Garry Headed to Pulborough brooks for the Wryneck that has been seen for the last couple of days, when we arrived we saw some birders we asked if they had seen the bird ,and they had 10 minutes ago bummer,so we scanned out the hedgerow for about 30 minutes then with amazement dads friend found it sitting on a post along the hedge. well done Garry, we watched it preening in the evening sun for  about 15 minutes before it dissapeared into the hedge,  other birds seen were a large flock of goldfinch 1 marsh tit on feeders and a nuthatch  we then headed of .Thanks Garry.
