Whats for Desert

Desert Wheatear
Me and Rob decided to go for the Desert Wheatear at Holmes next to sea.

Rob picked me up around about 7:30 and we arrived at Thornam car park around 15 minutes to 11, when we got the stuff set up we had about a 10-20 minute walk ahead of us, on the way we had plenty of Skylarks and Meadows pipit flying around, when we arrived at the beach just east of the Pines there were about 30 people watching the Wheatear, we got the stuff set up and we instantly go on the Desert Wheatear what an amazing bird well worth the 4 hour drive, i got very close to the bird and got so okay shots we watched the Desert Wheatear for about and 1:30 minutes.

109 Snow buntings
From here we headed to the Salthouse for 80+ Snow buntings that have been recorded when we arrived there was 2 Snow bunting on the grass, so me and Rob headed down the path and then the flock flew right in front of us and we saw them do this a couple of times from here we headed home.

When i got home i printed a image of the flock and counted 109 in the flock that is and mazing count.
